Long time no see!

So much has happened since that last blog post.  So much learning has taken place, not just the by the students but with a whole new team of teachers, and the advent of AI, we have all stepped up massively on this wonderful learning journey.  Being a business owner as well as lead teacher has led to a number of in-house changes, systems and ideas for improvement.  We currently have a team of teachers and support staff of 8!  It is very much a family affair - alongside myself and my husband our two sons are now part of the team, working on social media, reception duties and supporting classes of younger children.  Being a native speakers has so many advantages and we currently have a new advanced level teacher who happens to come from the same village as us in the UK!  Our expert speakers of English receive continual professional development by observing advanced classes, preparing their own exams, attending Cambridge events run by the local exam board Exams Levante, and we all believe in researching the latest and most exciting ways to teach.  Weekly team meetings are an opportunity to share new ideas and have in-house training, which may be run by any one of us, depending on our field of expertise.  In the pipeline, I am planning a yoga session for the team, so we can help our young students relax and have an open mind towards all things new and amazing! All in English of course!
